AI and the minute taker in Scotland

So how does AI affect the minute taker in Scotland. Will it lead to a decline in work, or will it improve the situation for minute takers in Scotland and throughout the UK. Well I think it will improve. I will tell you why. As we move into 2024, everyone is talking about AI. Now minute taking as a profession is no stranger to technological progression. We can record meetings, there is also software than can print the content of meeting word for word. We also have paragraph suggestions and spelling corrections, in addition to voice technology, saving on typing time. However none of these things have resulted in a reduction in the need for minute takers. On the contrary, there is more of a demand for good minute takers as the standard of English in the general population declines due to technology and phones, namely due to the boom in texting. Meetings are also complex and you need to get a feel for the participants and the atmosphere of the meeting to help you find the right words. No amount of technology can improve that, in fact in can hinder things if you make general assumptions, which is what AI does. There will be uses for AI when it comes to tidying up a document, but I don't see myself being replaced in the immediate future to be honest. So if you are looking for a minute taker in Scotland or the UK, then look no further and contact me through this website or on 0775 213 5055.
